This series just keeps on getting better and better! I absolutely adore it, it just keeps reminding me of a bit more grown up version of Harry Potter. Zoey is such a great character too, she is really relatable as she is obviously extremely gifted and special but she’s just as obviously not perfect when it comes to making mistakes. Especially where her love life is concerned!
This book was a lot more dramatic and dark. It centers around Zoey and Aphrodite and the rest of the gang trying to stop Kalona from rising. He’s this seriously evil, female-hating, fallen angel, Nephelium, type thing. Aphrodite is becoming more and more of a loveable character. Shes a total bitch but you gotta love her outrageous statements! Also she is a strong woman who really helps to save a lot of lives at the end of this book. Gotta say on the Zoey front, I am not in love with Erik at the moment, not even a little, so if he is her only love interest in the next book I will so not be impressed!
