Since I Don’t Have You by Louise Candlish

22 Jan

This was pretty sad in places. The beginning is heart breaking and you really feel all the emotions along with Rachel. Some parts are interesting enough and I did keep reading but to be honest looking back I’ve already forgotten a lot of what went on because really most of the book is just filling with nothing really substantial going on.

It’s not my type of book I suppose, I just found it ultimately very depressing. There is no happy ending as such for a parent who loses their child, especially in such horrific circumstances. Maybe it would be a comfort to people suffering a bereavement but it wasn’t my cup of tea.
