The beginning starts off well its very fast-moving and exciting but then as the main character Holly slowly starts to go insane the book gets a little harder to read. As you’re seeing everything from her point of view in the first half its hard to disengage yourself from that in the second half when we see it from the point of view of the best friend, Meg. Her problems seem to go away a bit too easily as soon as Meg tries fixing them, the money-lenders immediately back off after being paid, Rees the stalker just gives up supposedly because Holly is ‘too mad’ for him? Ah… He’s a stalker he’s not exactly sane himself is he? And then the twist at the end just didn’t work for me at all.
It wasn’t exceptionally bad or anything but just not my cup of tea I suppose!
