Lazybones by Mark Billingham (Inspector Thorne #3)

24 Jan

This was the first book I have read by Billingham and I have to say I really liked his style of writing. He describes the characters really well without boring you to tears about back stories that really have nothing to do with the plot. Just enough for you to sympathise with their flaws.
A great thriller with an unusual storyline that really intrigued me and of course the obligatory twist at the end was there but it was a bit more inventive than the usual. I definitely enjoyed it but gave it four stars only because the finale chapter made me feel a bit uncomfortable maybe a tad too graphic but otherwise very good read!
