The Horse and His Boy by CS Lewis (Chronicles of Narnia #3)

26 Jan

I loved this book most out of all the chronicles, mainly because of the talking horses. I was obsessed with horses when I was younger (still am slightly) and the idea of finding one that could talk back to you thrilled me to the very core!!

Other than that, the book still is a lovely little story and really a great tale. I would absolutely love to see this in a film version, think it would be a great children’s film! And of course big kids like me would enjoy it too!

None of the characters we have met in previous books are in it except of course for Aslan who makes an appearance in every book. The main character Shasta is a really lovely little boy and Lewis is a master at creating these lovely characters that although not flawless are still impossible not to like. Great book!
